S. Korea Successfully Launches Space Rocket

　　韩国首枚运载火箭罗老号发射成功

　　South Korea is reporting of success in its third attempt at launching a rocket to put a satellite in space.

　　韩国在经过三次尝试后最终将卫星运载火箭发射成功。

　　Kim Ju-ho, the South Korean Education, Science and Technology Minister, says they have now "leapt up a step" to become a space nation.

　　韩国教育与科技部部长Kim Ju-ho发言时称，韩国最终迈入了太空。

　　"Our scientists and engineers have launched the Naro rocket today. It was successfully launched at 4 pm today, and 540 seconds later, the Naro rocket separated its scientific satellite. Analysing various data, we officially announce that the Naro rocket successfully placed its scientific satellite in the targeted orbit."

　　他说：“下午4点，‘罗老’号成功发射升空。540秒之后‘罗老号’科技卫星成功与发射体分离。根据分析各种资料数据后，我正式宣布‘罗老号’将科技卫星成功送入目标轨道，‘罗老号’运载火箭发射成功。”

　　The success marks the first, since the first two failed attempts back in 2009 and 2010 due to technical problems.

　　30日发射成功的是第三枚“罗老”号运载火箭。此前在2009年和2010年，韩国分别发射了第一枚和第二枚“罗老”号火箭，但都以失败告终。

　　It comes amid increased tensions on the Korean Peninsula though, following North Korea's threat of a third nuclear test.

　　由于朝鲜进行第三次核试验，导致朝鲜半岛上两国紧张局势加剧。

　　Pyongyang has expressed anger over tough new international sanctions over its December launch and has accused its rivals of applying double-standards toward space programmes of both the Koreas.

　　平壤方面对联合国方面在其12月份发射卫星后进行的国际制裁非常不满，并指责其对手对其太空项目采取双重标准。
