Warmedy is a blend of warm and comedy, which refers to a comedy that features warm-hearted, family-oriented content. It applies to both movies and television shows, although the latter is where it originated.
Warmedy(温情喜剧)是warm(温馨)和comedy(喜剧)两个词的合成词，指题材以家庭生活为主、有喜剧成分、但又不失温情的影视剧作品。温情喜剧这个词最开始出现在电视剧领域，不过现在既可以用来描述电影作品，也可以指代电视剧。
