Zhao Wei to Release Directorial Debut in April

　　赵薇首次执导电影《致青春》于今年四月份发布

　　Chinese actress Zhao Wei's first film as a director will hit local screens on April 26, Mtime.com reports.

　　中国知名演员赵薇首次执导的电影《致青春》预计于今年四月份在内地各大影院首映。

　　The 36-year-old actress, one of the most sought-after faces in Chinese cinema, says her directorial debut "So Young" is a tribute to her generation.

　　这位36岁的知名演员表示，这部电影讲述的是她们那个年代的故事。

　　"I'd like to devote this film to everyone out there who had a similar youth...It's a memory shared by those who were born on the Chinese mainland between the 1970s and early '80s," Zhao said at a press conference in Beijing on Tuesday, January 29, 2013. She added that she expected the film to move audiences to tears.

　　在2013年1月29日举行的新闻发布会上，赵薇发言称：“我谨将此电影献给跟我有同样时代经历的人。这是出生于上世纪七八十年代的人共同的生活回忆。”她还表示说，希望这部电影能把观众感动。

　　"So Young" is about a young woman's emotional struggle with two men she meets again years after their on-campus love triangle.

　　《致青春》讲述的是一位年轻女性与学生时代的两位爱慕者多年后重逢时的感情纠葛。

　　Instead of starring in the film herself, Zhao Wei chose newcomer Yang Zishan to play the lead role. The male lead characters are played by Mark Chao and singer-turned actor Han Geng.

　　这部电影由新晋演员杨子姗担纲主演。其他两位男主演分别是赵又廷与转型歌手韩庚。

　　Director Stanley Kwan, who is the film's executive producer, said as a director Zhao Wei was "tough" and could work 30 hours nonstop.

　　执行制片人关锦鹏说道，赵薇导演非常“严格”，而且工作起来不要命，可以连续工作30小时不休息。

　　The film is also the graduation project of Zhao Wei, who is working towards a master's degree in directing at the Beijing Film Academy.

　　这部电影也是赵薇在北京电影学院攻读导演专业硕士学位时的毕业作品。

　　Zhao said her professors have spoken highly of her work.

　　她表示，导师对她的电影评价很高。

　　"They only watched the rough-cut version, and they gave it 99 out of 100," she said.

　　她说：“他们只是看了粗略剪辑的版本，就给我打了99分。”
