11 still missing after 22-story apartment building collapses in Colombia

Twenty-two stories... 11 people missing... and now possibly another collapse. After working through the night, rescue crews in Colombia are running into structural risks that are hindering their search of a collapsed apartment building.

(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) DIRECTOR OF RISK MANAGEMENT FOR THE COLOMBIAN GOVERNMENT, CARLOS IVAN MARQUEZ, SAYING: "There is plan for search and rescue operations in collapsed structures. First, we have to evacuate the area -- we've already done that for 163 families. Then we have to go in with machinery to stabilize and prevent any risk of collapse because we've already seen some."
哥伦比亚政府危险管理部门主任CARLOS IVAN MARQUEZ：“我们出台了倒塌建筑搜救行动计划。首先，我们必须对该地区进行疏散――我们已经疏散了163个家庭。然后我们将携带机器进入建筑，防止进一步倒塌的危险，因为我们已经遇到过这样的情况。”
Rescue dogs have been deployed to scour the rubble in the hope of finding anyone alive, including the brother of Carlos Alberto.

Authorities evacuated the building Friday after large cracks began to appear in the structure. It's believed construction workers who were working inside during the collapse are among the 11 missing.
