The level of English required for each programme is denoted by a five-band system, each band corresponds to a level of English language competance.
Band A
7.5 overall with a minimum of 7.0 in each skill
Band B
7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in each skill
Band C
7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in reading & writing and 6.0 in listening & speaking
Band D
6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each skill
Band E
6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill
