CITC invites 1 sealed 2 bids from eligible suppliers for the construction of a new harbor in Shandong, China financed 3 with the proceeds 4 of the World Bank loan and by way of international competitive bidding 5 .

All those who are willing to participate in the bid are kindly requested to contact our office at 60 Yan'an Road, Qingdao, Shandong, tel 86-532-6168217 fax 86-532-6168218 to obtain bidding document between 9:00 am and 11:00 am. (Sundays and holidays excepted ) from Oct.25, 2004 to Nov.25, 2004 upon nonrefundable payment of RMB 280 while express mail postage 6 shall be added.

Bids shall reach CITC before 10:00 am Jan. 1,2005 (local time). Bids received after that date and time or not accompanied by a Bid Bond 7 as required in the bidding document will not be accepted. Bids will be opened in public at 10:00 am on Jan. 1, 2005 (local time).
