Also

Also一般用于写作，口语中较少使用。在写作中，Also所在的位置不同，代表的意思也不同。比如：

当Also放在句首时，其作用是强调后面的内容，或增加新的观点。

The book is very interesting. Also, you can learn new knowledge from it.

当Also放在主语和谓语动词之间时，其作用是连接前后内容。

She works very hard but she also goes to the gym every week.

当Also放在句尾时，也是用来连接前后内容，不过这种情况我们更多使用too/ as well。

She contacted him in the office but he didn’t answer the phone.

His mobile phone was silent also/too/as well.

As well

与Also相反，As well 通常用在口语表达中，写作中较少使用。

As well通常用在句尾：

Hey, that's an idea! And we could get a band as well.

As well as与As well不同，As well as是介词词组，意为“除了”。

When they go to Austria, they like walking as well as skiing.

As well不能用在句首：

I just ignored it. I think everybody else did as well.

Not: As well I think everybody else did.

Too

Too常常用于句尾，表示“也”，同时在句尾处也是一种固定表达，也用来表示祝愿。

-She looks really tired and she must be really hungry too.

-Me too.

-You look great!

-You, too!

Too有时也会用在主语后，且需要用“，”分割，用来强调主语，这一用法不太常见。

We, too, have been very pleased to receive the prize on her behalf.

Either

当进行否定表达时，我们使用Either进行连接，此时either也做副词使用。

It was a really nice hotel, and it wasn’t very expensive either.

She doesn’t like eggs and she doesn’t like fish either.
