2021年剑桥KET单词分类突破:Clothes

在开始之前，我们先来区分一下cloth/clothes/clothing的概念吧~

Cloth指的是做衣服用的布料、织物，复数形式为cloths。

Clothes指的是我们身上所穿的衣服，如短袖、裤子。

Clothing指的是也是衣服，但与“clothes”相比更加综合，通常用在“服装产业(clothing industry)”、“服装部门(clothing section)”这样的词组之中。并且clothing是不可数名词。

Stylish(时髦) : wearing nice clothes and looking attractive; also well- dressed

Smartly dressed(商务): clean and tidy and suitable for formal situations(正式场合)

Casual(休闲) : comfortable and suitable forinformal situations(非正式场合)

1. As soon as I get up, I have a shower and get dressed(穿衣服).
