这里Earl大爷说的是：“Rumor has it that you had your heart broken.”其中“Rumor has it that …”是固定句型，表示“有传闻称、江湖消息说……”。
Rumor意为 “流言蜚语”，制造谣言是start a rumor，散布谣言是spread a rumor。
就像纷纷扰扰的娱乐圈，六眼飞鱼满天飞，其实很大一部分是当事人故意放出的风。例如：
Rumor has it the star couple divorced last month.(有传闻称这对明星夫妻上月离婚了。)
Rumor has it the actress gave birth to a baby out of marriage.(有传言说这个女演员产下私生子。)
Rumor has it the singer hooked up with a rich woman.(坊间传言该名歌手搭上了富婆。)
