观点:big shopping malls
论点:1.售后服务非常好
2. 配套设施全面
Response:
I prefer big shopping malls. There are some reasonsfor my like. Firstly, I enjoy better service in shopping malls. Take after-saleservice for example. As long as I keep the invoice, I can send back my purchasewithin seven days for refunds, whatever the reason. And sometimes, goods returnhappens without an invoice. Moreover, I love the surroundings there. When inthe shopping mall, I am not only shopping there, but enjoying the parking lot, cuisine center and cinema located right in the shopping mall, and this is ahuge plus.

I think it’s a good thing. There are some reasons.Firstly, part-time jobs bring us money. It on one hand contributes ourexpensive tuition and housing and on the other hand releases parents’ financialburden. We are therefore less worried whether we can make a living withoutparents. Moreover, it accumulates social experience. There’s something thatcannot be obtained in class, such as work experience. And during a part-timejob, we start to learn how to effectively communicate with other peers in theworking surroundings and become more mature than those who have zero work experience.

Task 2
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? All students should be required to study art and music in secondary school. Usespecific reasons to support your answer.
观点:反对
论点:1 时间有限
2 对于专业不相关的学生来说是浪费时间
Response:
I don't think there is a need for this. There are somereasons. Firstly, most of our spare time has been filled with mountains ofrequired courses and respective homework. In China, most students have to takeat least 9 required courses for college entrance examination, let alone otheroptional courses necessary for high school graduation test. There is no gap forextra requirement. Besides, to succeed a living only means to be prominent inthose classes related with the chosen career. Take my brother for example. Hewould like to be a chemist in the future, and courses like art and music arenothing to do with his academy, which is a waste of his time.

Well, it might be a good idea for the old and the weakto stay in familiar places where the weather is suitable and there is lesschance to get them affected by diseases in changing weather or location, butit’s not the case for the young adults who are excited about changes. Firstly, new places bring us diverse activities. For example, people who are used toswimming in hot summer days may also enjoy skiing in cold winter days.Secondly, unfamiliar places bring us new visions. It’s a pity that peopleliving in the equatorial area have never seen snow. And also it’s a greatsurprise to swim in Australia when it is winter in the north hemisphere.

2 政府应当颁布相关法律限制工厂排放

Nowadays, air pollution is becoming increasinglyserious and has already threatened people’s living conditions. As commoncitizens, we need to do our bits for the reduction of air pollution. What wecan do first is to reduce the numbers of private cars, thus controlling the caremission. Subways can replace private cars as a major means of transportation. It can help us to control air pollution. What’s more, government should carryout certain policy to regulate factories’ emission of waste gas. The owners offactories should also obey the rules and try their best to take part in theenvironmental protection. So every one of us can do little things in our livesto reduce air pollution.
