　　据中国地震台网测定，北京时间16日21点44分，位于新疆西北部的博尔塔拉蒙古自治州精河县发生5.0级地震，震源深度4.0公里，震中位置为北纬44.3°、东经82.7°。

　　中新社记者电话联系精河县消防人员得知，县城内有震感，暂时未有人员伤亡和财产损失报告。

　　精河县位于新疆西北部，天山支脉婆罗科努山北麓，准噶尔盆地西南边缘，隶属博尔塔拉蒙古自治州，是古“丝绸之路”北道重镇。312国道和第二亚欧大陆桥穿境而过，且处在两个国家一类口岸阿拉山口口岸和霍尔果斯口岸的交汇处，距阿拉山口95公里，距霍尔果斯口岸280公里

　　乌鲁木齐铁路局官方微博“新疆铁路”发布消息称，目前，由伊犁州伊宁市开往乌鲁木齐的5816次、K9790次及由阿拉山口开往乌鲁木齐的5802次列车，分别滞留在尼勒克站、伊宁东站、博乐站，暂时滞留的各次列车均为刚刚始发不久，餐料、饮用水充足，人员平安。
